Why sign up today?
If you sign up today, you will receive a welcome packet in the mail that will provide you with all of the information you need to know about the Rip's B.A.D. Ride. The sooner you sign up, the more you'll know about being B.A.D.!

I don't ride. Can I still participate?
Sure, anyone can join us for the post-ride activities. If you don't ride, you can drive to the festival.

How much money does the ADA receive from this event?
Since this is an ADA event, 100% of the money goes directly to the American Diabetes Association for its research, education and advocacy initiatives.

When do I turn in my money?
There are several ways you can turn in money:

  • Make your personal donation online today at www.diabetes.org/badride
  • After registering online, use ADA's online fund-raising tools to seek financial support from friends or family
  • Bring your offline donations in your ADA collection envelope to the start site or the festival location on event day

I registered online. Do I need to bring anything with me on ride day?
Please bring a print out of any online donations raised and/or your online registration confirmation.

Are all bikes welcome?
Yes, this is an ALL bike event!

Is the BAD Ride a poker run?
No, this is a "point to point" ride from start site to festival location.

Where is the festival located?
Once you register, you'll receive a "welcome packet" that has the festival site map included. In addition, logon to www.diabetes.org/badride to view all of the details as the event gets closer.

Do I need to go to an official start site the morning of the ride?
Yes, if you want to ride with one of the escorted groups and enjoy the pre-ride festivities. But you are welcome to ride directly to the festival from your home or other meeting place.

How do I get one of those cool B.A.D. Ride T-shirts?
You can receive an official B.A.D. Ride T-shirt for raising $125 in Southern California and $75 at all other BAD sites.
